Often times when we are doing research in to our Family Tree, it is difficult to come up with photos. To offset this problem, one of the things that I do is to use photos of the area where my ancestors were born or to research their occupations and to write about that. Although we may not have an exact photo of the ancestor, we can still tell a story about his/her life. In this first layout about my ancestors, I was lucky enough to visit England and to buy some postcards which depicted their lives in the Weaving Industry. I also took some photos of the church where some of my ancestors were buried.

I chose the Graphic 45 "Mon Amour" collection and used some Valentines stamps from Prima, a black flower also from Prima, some die cuts of hearts and the title "Love" using some Memory Box dies and added a black doily from Doodlebug.Read More
